Mary Wolfhouse nació en Inglaterra a comienzos de la década de los 60 pero ha vivido en el País Vasco desde 1970. Durante los primeros años de su vida, los únicos seres de carne y hueso que hubo en su mundo eran su padre, su madre y su hermana pequeña. Los vecinos eran apariciones detrás de las vallas y los conductores de autobús, seres míticos. En el colegio empezó un tardío proceso de socialización interrumpido por el viaje de su familia a Bilbao y varias mudanzas. Quizás por eso Mary Wolfhouse es ahora una ESCRITORA INVISIBLE, condición de lo más conveniente para relacionarse con criaturas fantásticas.
Mary Wolfhouse was born in London in the early sixties but she has lived in the Basque Country (northern Spain) since 1970. During the first years of her life, her parents and her little sister were the only creatures made of flesh and bone that inhabited her world. Neighbours were apparitions behind fences and bus drivers were mythical beings. She started a late socialization process at school interrupted by the decision of her parents to move back to Spain. This was followed by several moves from one house to another and from one neighbourhood to another. Maybe as a result of all this Mary Wolfhouse is today an INVISIBLE WRITER, which she regards as a most convenient condition to interact with fantastic creatures.
